I'm going to post it a paragrah at a time for the first while, and if people like it I will continute it until I get bored lol. The main character in the story is NOT me, but there are a few things based on me. Also, this is purely made up from my imagination, including the characters. As of now, the characters have no names, but I might use my roleplaying names >> becuase they're kewl...LOL okay ONWARDS--->
Chapter One:
Stepping slowly into the waiting room of the small office, I tried not to make a sound, but no matter how much I tried, the squeak of my wet shoes on the tile floor, the swishing sound of my coat, and the drip-drip of the water falling to the floor from my soaked scarf all caused a simultaneous curiosity among the patients in the room. I sighed and smiled at a few who turned to stare at me. I lowered my eyes to the floor and traced them along the edge of the room to find an empty chair. I wasn’t one to pick out a magazine to read, I usually busied myself with staring out at the passing traffic on the road. The lady at the desk already recognised me and smiled sadly at me, and I knew the man I was here to see was going to be just as thrilled as I was…not a heck of a lot. I tucked my hands into the depths of my coat pockets and I snuggled my nose into my scarf. Melted ice crystals formed droplets where I had been breathing into it and they made my lips and chin wet. I wiped the moisture away with the back of my hand and continued to stare out the window. The lady sitting across from me whom I was looking over to see the cars passing by on the road outside scowled at me and I turned my attention to my shoes. I guess it must have looked like I was staring at her, but I was really only watching the snow fall just above her head. I smirked to myself and shuffled to my feet as the nurse called my name.
